FLO Cycling - Leadman 125, 2012, Race Recap and Results

Posted by FLO Cycling at Sunday, April 01, 2012 Labels: en , Races

Hello All,

Yesterday, Chris and I spent the day at the Leadman 125 put on by Lifetime here in Las Vegas.  There was a great turn out and it was fun to help out at the race.  We volunteered/took pictures of the day’s event.

The winds were brutal and many athletes said this was the most difficult race they'd ever completed.  Some even stated Kona was a less challenging race then yesterday's race.  With that being said, congrats to all the athletes who competed in yesterday’s event.  Here is a recap of the day’s event and pictures of the day.

Men's Top 5
1. Maik Twelsiek 4:44:57
2. Matthew Russell 4:50:33
3. Thomas Gerlach 4:52:42
4. Ian Mikelson 4:59:38
5. Doug MacLean 5:09:46

2. Jackie Arendt 5:23:49

Etienne,

Yes it was a very quiet finish line. Hopefully the race will gain some popularity by next year.
